WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT FOREMAN/OPERATOR
The City of Wadena is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Foreman/Operator. Responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and supervision of the Wastewater Treatment Operations.
Qualifications include possession of a valid Class B Minnesota Vehicle Operator License with tanker endorsement, possession of a Class IV Minnesota Waste Disposal Facility Operator’s Certificate, possession of a Class A Certificate from the State of Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, graduate of a certified technical college course in Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation and maintenance and at least five (5) years of experience in the supervision and operation of a wastewater treatment facility.

Health & Wellness Center
After nearly two years since we started the effort to obtain state funding to rebuild the community center and municipal pool facilities lost in the June 17, 2010 tornado, Gov. Dayton announced that the Wadena Regional Wellness Center project will receive $4.2 million!
